The Museum of Life Science, commissioned by Curator, Dr Gillian Sales of the Museum of Life Science, King's College London.
The Images are of some of the specimens held at the museum, some dating from from the 1800's. A lot of the collection was nearly lost but was saved by Gill and her team. Over the past few years the collection has been restored and the museum will hopefully open its doors to the public next year. The Project is my first professionally approached commission, the core aim of it was to build a digital archive of the collection for the museum.
Since starting the commission, I have expanded it, encorporating images of the staff, the building and where the specimens are held to give viewers a better feel of the museum, as it is still of limits to the general public.
